SFI Public Service Fellowship Programme
Did you know your research knowledge and skills can make a difference within Government and the Public Service?
SFI believes that there is a significant role for science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) in helping Government to address significant national and global challenges such as climate change, innovation, food security and digital transformation.
To this end, SFI will be offering STEM researchers, at a range of career stages, a unique opportunity to be seconded to government departments and agencies. Successful Researchers in Residence will work on specific projects where they can add value with mutually beneficial outcomes. Potential projects include data analysis to improve process efficiencies, research/policy analysis or horizon scanning to help inform future Government policy.
This exciting new programme will launch in early October with an expected deadline for application in early November 2019. More details will be available on the SFI Public Service Fellowship in the coming weeks.
