Could Your Research Have Societal Impact?
SFI currently has two open challenge calls that aim to drive STEM-led innovation to address society’s greatest challenges.
The Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Societal Good Challenge will support teams to develop solutions that leverage AI to address significant societal challenges (closing date for applications 6 Sept 2019).
The Zero Emissions Challenges will support teams to develop solutions that address challenges on Ireland’s pathway to net-zero emissions by 2050 (closing date for applications 23 Sept 2019).
These challenge-funding calls are opportunities for postdocs, early career researchers or established researchers to lead interdisciplinary teams and to accelerate the societal impact of their work.
