60 R&D-focused jobs announced for Newsweaver in Cork
Cork company Newsweaver is to significantly increase the size of its headquarters in the Airport Business Park, adding 60 new jobs to its current workforce over the next two years, with a concentration on high-value jobs in research and development.
The company is to double the number of developers it employs as it grows its international customer base, and expects significant national and international interest in the new positions.
It has started the recruitment drive, focusing on key business areas such as customer support, marketing, technical support, and sales in Ireland as well as the US.
Founded in 2002, Newsweaver has been particularly successful the last number of years following the release of its internal communications software called Internal Connect in 2012, and it now caters to clients including Rolls-Royce, Vodafone, Kellogg’s, Experian and Aon Hewitt.
The company has received considerable industry recognition recently, having been named as one of Ireland’s best ICT companies by the Irish Exporters Association, as well as being ranked in the top 300 fastest-growing technology companies in Europe and the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 for five years in a row.
